Looking for cleaning, security or catering tenders in South Africa?
You’ve come to the right place. Proco is a tender portal built for suppliers who are serious about winning the right contracts — without the admin, the silence, and the wasted effort that usually comes with it.
Over 140 suppliers across South Africa have already registered. Supplier registration is free.
Why Proco?
The real cost of chasing tenders
If you’ve been in the game long enough, you know the drill. You spend days preparing a proposal, you arrange a site visit, you build a detailed pitch pack — and then you hear nothing. No feedback. No outcome. Just silence.
It’s one of the biggest frustrations for cleaning, security, catering and landscaping companies looking for new business opportunities in South Africa. And it’s not your fault — the process is broken.
Proco exists to fix that. Every opportunity on our platform comes from a committed client who will make a decision. This is not a benchmarking exercise. It’s a real contract opportunity, run properly.
A tender portal that works for you
Here’s what makes Proco different from any tender process you’ve been through before
We work across the following service categories:
Cleaning, security and catering tenders where merit wins
Traditional tender processes often favour the biggest suppliers — those with the most infrastructure, the largest fleets, the longest CVs. Proco is built differently.
Every supplier — whether you’re a local cleaning company or a national security provider — is evaluated on two things:
Smaller suppliers receive a higher weighting on suitability. That means a community-based cleaning or landscaping company can compete equally with a national provider — if they’re the right fit. Merit wins, not scale. The client sets the evaluation criteria that matter to them. We facilitate the process. The decision is theirs.
Opportunities across South Africa
You can register for opportunities in any geography. You’ll simply need to demonstrate that you can deliver in that area.
What to expect when you register as a supplier
Registration is free and takes less than 30 minutes. Here’s exactly what’s involved:
What happens after you register
Your profile goes live. When a relevant opportunity matches your capability profile, you’ll receive: the service category and components, the estimated contract value, the location, and the client name. You’ll have six days to register your interest — then the process runs over two to three weeks across three gates.
Capability profile evaluation
The client reviews all registered suppliers against their requirements using your capability profile. If you’re shortlisted, you move to Gate 2. If not, you’ll receive feedback on why — always.
In-person pitch
Shortlisted suppliers present their solution at the client’s premises, based on a structured agenda and the detailed specifications you’ve received. This is your chance to show how you’d deliver the service — and to introduce the people and culture behind your business. Pitches may take place in one day or over several days, depending on the number of shortlisted suppliers.
Pricing and contract review
Shortlisted suppliers submit their pricing and review the contract on the Proco platform. A consolidated score across all three gates informs the final decision.
The client makes the call. We make sure the process is fair, structured, and transparent — for everyone involved.
Trusted by suppliers across South Africa

Unlike most tender portals in South Africa, registration is free, accessing opportunities is free, and you only pay if you win. No subscriptions. No document fees. No pay-to-play. Just a fair process with a real outcome at the end of it.

Yes. Register for as many categories as are relevant to your business. You’ll complete a separate capability profile for each one you select.
When a client runs a selection process, their requirements are matched against registered supplier capability profiles. If your profile fits, you’ll be notified of the opportunity by email.
Your profile goes live immediately. You’ll be notified when a relevant opportunity arises. Timing depends on client demand — some suppliers hear within days, others within weeks depending on their category and location.

No. Proco does the site visit on your behalf. The specifications you receive are based on that visit — so you have everything you need without the cost or time of going yourself. This is one of the biggest ways Proco reduces your cost of winning new cleaning, security or catering contracts.
From notification to outcome, typically two to three weeks — significantly faster than traditional tender processes.
You’ll be notified by email and receive feedback on why you weren’t shortlisted. Your profile stays active for future opportunities.

Across three gates — capability profile, in-person pitch, and pricing. A consolidated score across all three informs the outcome. The client sets the criteria and makes the final decision. Proco facilitates.
Yes — by design. Our scoring model weights suitability more heavily for smaller suppliers, which means local fit, responsiveness, and relevant experience can outweigh scale and infrastructure. A community-based cleaning or security company can score equally to a national provider if they’re the right fit.
Up to 41 multiple choice questions per service category that build your profile on the platform. Completed once at registration and used across all opportunities. You can update it at any time.
